I am, more than anything else, a traveler. Based in istanbul, currently trotting the globe working as a freelance photojournalist and writer; observing, learning and documenting. Travel+Leisure, TIME and National Geographic are among the magazines I worked for.
I also do video works. Working for Istanbul Independent Film Festival on a regular basis, producing short docs and event video-logs beside coordinating the festival's blog and social medias. One of my shorts was shown among the turkish shorts selection in 2007.
I love Istanbul, the city I was born in and for. I enjoy sharing my experiences about this place and help people to delve into it. I organize themed private walk-arounds, mainly on photography and food, for visitors from around the world. In the last 10 years I have hosted various international artists, journalists and visitors through the city.
